I loved both these haiku … Samantha, yours made me gligge, and Linda — the sense of movement in your haiku blew me away. Even if I didn’t know you were a “horse person” I would have suspected it by reading this poem. Wow.

Hi Alok,
Started reading your blog today and must say that you got me hooked on to it. Its entertaining and inspiring at the same time. this poem caught me for its simple yet sensitive cord. If we do have so much faith love and respect for the invisible , why is it so difficult for it to pour out to living and breathing human beings around…

PS. Your business blog ( Rodinhood ) is also equally brilliant .

Very interesting… and symbolic description of Hemis! In fact this reminds me of a feeling of “completely letting go” at the Thiksey Monastery – the amazingly strong winds on the roof top can sweep one off…and take away all the pent up hurt and angst within….leaving one to feel so much at peace.

Its rather difficult to say so much in so few words ,You have done so beautifully ..

My favourite zen koan ..

“Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes and the grass grows by itself”- Zen koan

My Extension ..

I made a lot of noise , and tried my best … but still the grass grows, only when spring comes !

I hope I remember this through the year, so I may grow something else in the other seasons
